Description Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly payments and accruals with accuracy and ensure proper reconciliation of financial data. • Analyze and modify large datasets using advanced database tools to calculate payments and provide detailed reporting. • Develop and utilize financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes. • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities through the review of operational and financial metrics. • Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Investigate variances between budget and forecast, providing detailed explanations based on operational metrics. • Create and review journal entries during month-end and year-end close processes. • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying risk areas and recommending enhancements. • Collaborate on audits and streamline research, analysis, and tracking efforts. • Perform ad hoc financial projects, including data analysis and reporting as needed. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail. • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in industry or public accounting. • Proficiency in financial analysis and handling large datasets. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Experience with database tools such as Teradata and Microsoft Visual Studio. • Familiarity with Oracle and Essbase systems. • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
