**Overview:**
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Financial Analyst III. Contribute to a top finance team, making a global impact.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide accurate and timely reporting of financial performance and business drivers.
+ Develop analytics to support business strategies and identify areas of growth.
+ Support the team during monthly forecast and planning processes.
+ Lead and develop distributed team deliverables on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
+ Manage reporting, forecasting, and planning for expenses and revenue.
+ Consolidate and distribute bi-weekly revenue forecasts.
+ Support annual operating plan processes and ensure alignment with divisions and business units.
+ Maintain and develop ad hoc reporting mechanisms using Hyperion Planning, CMR, and Power BI tools.
+ Collaborate with the finance team to identify issues, resolve problems, and speed up processes.
+ Develop processes to ensure alignment worldwide and incorporate standard methodologies.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or a related field.
**Experience:**
+ 3 years or more of progressive analytical experience with a focus on analyzing and interpreting data to evaluate business performance and support effective business decision-making.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
+ Experience in financial reporting systems such as Hyperion Planning and CMR.
+ Advanced skills in Excel.
+ Experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI, or an interest in coding (R, Python, or any relational databases) is beneficial.
+ Passion for supporting the business and working to drive strategic targets.
+ Goal-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Strong communication skills, able to present information clearly and effectively.
+ Motivated and driven to make an impact, taking initiative on new challenges.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally and across geographic boundaries.
+ Experience working in a matrixed environment to drive impact.
+ Willingness to travel up to 10%.
