What will you do?

Finance professional wanted for Financial Analyst II role supporting Customer Channels Group. Reports to Commercial Finance Manager, assisting Commercial Team with contracts, incentives, and Global relationships. Work with a team of four Finance professionals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Forecast, track and initiate payment of customer incentivesBook month-end customer incentive accrualsProvide Business Reviews to Commercial Directors for review with customersMonthly variance analysis of actual customer performance versus expectationsPerform special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required by finance and business leadershipWork with appropriate internal departments to accurately implement new contractsPrepare several different types of standard reports to support our customers and Sales TeamProblem solve multi-system variances for accuracyCollaborate with other members of the team to share knowledge and help teammates where neededEnsure accuracy, quality and integrity of financial dataAd-hoc reporting and other related duties, as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related fields and equivalent experienceStrong Microsoft Excel skillsMinimum of 3 years of relevant work experienceStrong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate professionally to all levels of an organizationExcellent organization and time management skills with an eye for detail

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate and articulate business impact in financial termsAbility to perform effectively under pressure and to balance multiple assignmentsAbility to work as part of team environment and individuallySelf-motivated, with the willingness and ability to learn new conceptsAbility to communicate effectively (written and verbal) at all levels in the organizationEmbody the Thermo Fisher Scientific values of Integrity, Intensity, Involvement, and InnovationStrong Excel and modeling skills, experience with MS PowerPoint, Cognos and PowerBI highly valuable
