Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst I to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Juno Beach, Florida. This role involves conducting in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve overall company performance. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in finance and accounting to evaluate business impacts and recommend actionable strategies. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed financial analysis to assess the impact of decisions and strategies on company performance. • Develop and propose actionable plans to optimize financial outcomes and support business objectives. • Analyze the company's financial structure, profitability, and competitive positioning to provide insights for resource allocation. • Evaluate the financial implications of strategic and tactical initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Conduct ad hoc financial studies to address specific business needs and provide timely insights. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning processes and financial reporting accuracy. • Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to support business case development and forecasting. • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and practices while analyzing financial data. • Support continuous improvement initiatives within financial operations and related functions. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related technical field is required. • An MBA, CPA, or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the utility sector or a related field is required. • Strong proficiency in financial planning processes and resource allocation strategies. • Expertise in analyzing financial performance and generating actionable insights. • Demonstrated ability to perform ad hoc financial studies and develop business cases. • Familiarity with accounting functions and compliance standards. • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
