Financial Analyst (HYBRID SCHEDULE) Job ID #: 31019 Location: TX-HOUSTON Functional Area: Accounting Position Type: Full Time Experience Required: 1 - 3 Years Relocation Provided: No Education Required: Bachelors Degree RC/Department: 0075 -FIN REP & GEN ACCOUNTING :KMGP Position Description Support the Director of Accounting in the Corporate Controller Organization with broad responsibility for maintaining and coordinating the Legal Budget/Forecast and provide technical support to improve and enhance Accounting & Finance (A&F) processes. + Maintain and coordinate the Legal budget, forecast, and accruals + Develop technical solutions (i.e. PowerBi, PowerQuery, Excel Macros and Visual Basics, and SQL) to provide process efficiencies for the Accounting & Finance (A&F) organization + Quarterly reporting responsibilities including drafting memos + Maintain and communicate Accounting Policies + Regular use of MS Teams, SharePoint, and Visio + Ad hoc analysis and reporting, and other duties as assigned Position Requirements + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field is required + Must have technical experience with PowerBi, PowerQuery, Excel Macros and Visual Basics, and SQL + Ability to communicate effectively, with excellent verbal and written communication skills + Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated + Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with others + Comfortable communicating deadlines and following-up on action items + General understanding of the energy industry and familiarity with industry terminology + Additional work hours will be required, including weekends and holidays on occasion This position may be filled as either an Accountant Associate, Accountant I, or Accountant II to commensurate with skills, education, and experience.
