Opportunity Overview
We have a great job opportunity for an Analyst in the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (CFP&A) group. This position will support Senior Management through the consolidation and interpretation of Total Company reporting. This is based out of our Alajuela, Costa Rica office with a hybrid job model.
A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well in a remote team environment, be accountable, have attention to detail, and have problem solving skills. The dynamic environment places a premium on high engagement, curiosity, and capacity to manage diverse business needs. The Teradyne CFP&A team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic Financial Analyst to focus on enterprise-wide FP&A fundamentals and processes. This person will report directly to the Corporate FP&A Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
+ Manage various input and load templates, formats and output template forms to ensure correct and accurate information is pulled from FP&A planning tool in support of various function reporting requirements
+ Own the template creation, distribution and consolidation process within the FP&A planning tool in support of weekly finance updates, G&A spending, forecast updates and Mid Term plans
+ Provide support for Board of Directors through the preparation and distribution of the various output tables for each division ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of required files
+ Support weekly spending analytics for the central G&A functions through the aggregation, evaluation and preparation of weekly spend and analytical reports from the ERP, Datawarehouse and FP&A planning tool
+ Build relationships across Teradyne’s finance organization and collaborate cross functionally to promote understanding of Teradyne’s business and drivers of financial results
+ Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts; Teradyne will be embarking on an ERP upgrade – key enhancement opportunities exist in teamwork to develop a cohesive and integrated planning cadence
+ Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with the operating segments to nurture cross-sharing of communications
+ Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed
Minimum Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, financa or related field.
+ English Proficiency
+ 3 years of relevant experience in
+ + MS Excel and PowerPoint
+ Foundation of financial analysis, and ability to drive holistic considerations of situation reviews.
+ Hyperion Essbase, Oracle or other database management platforms would be a plus
