Job Description

You're not just a numbers person; you're a financial storyteller.

We're looking for an exceptional Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team, the connective tissue between the Comoto family of brands when it comes to financial management. We're a very curious team and work hard to present the financials and key productivity metrics in innovative ways.

In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our team, responsible for financial modeling and reporting, evaluating business opportunities, and developing forecasts. You'll work with our Accounting team to get the numbers right, and with our departmental leadership to get the story right before sharing it with our Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, regularly interacting with our CFO and other senior leaders in the business.

We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and loves finance, retail, motorcycles, or all three!


Our next Financial Analyst will:

Support the monthly and long-term financial planning processes by analyzing financial dataPerform financial modeling analysis; collaborating with management to review and analyze the P&L, providing recommended actions to management; and measuring performance indicatorsDevelops and communicates annual business plans; identifying expense savings opportunities that impact performanceSupport ongoing financial process improvements by analyzing financial and business information to identify improvement opportunitiesProvide input for business decisions by supporting the development of financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks, preparing presentations and other supporting materials for recommendationsAssist internal resources to plan and analyze business performance by identifying gaps between business goals and corporate objectivesAssist Shared Services leadership understanding variances and incorporating new data into Forecasting and Budgeting cyclesConsolidation of Financial Statements and building of presentation decks for Executive Leadership, Board of Directors and other external stakeholders.Support Merger and Acquisition opportunities

Qualifications

Our Next Financial Analyst has:

2-4 years’ experience in finance or accounting, or related areaBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldAttention to detail with a process improvement and innovative mindset, with the willingness to be an active contributor in bringing new ideas and input to the teamSelf-starter with demonstrated curiosity to learn new thingsEqual ability to be self-sufficient in individual tasks, as well as working collaboratively with the larger FP&A teamExpertise with financial databases and business intelligence, software (JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP & SmartView; Snowflake, Tableau and SQL experience a plus)Ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly, work under pressure, and meet deadline requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentHigh proficiency with MS office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
