We have an amazing opportunity to join our fantastic Menzies Aviation team as a Financial Analyst supporting the Finance team.
This role is responsible for assisting with Americas regional financial reporting and submission of financial data to Global HQ. Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data. Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

Main accountabilities include:
Prepare comments to monthly results (variations with budgets, reforecast, etc.) for the Americas monthly review and the UK monthly financial reporting. Prepare budgets, projections, and forecast for the Americas business units. Assist regional VPs and station managers in preparing price quotes and analyzing profit by operation. Prepare capital expenditure requests, requests for investments, major purchase of assets, purchase of companies, etc. Give day to day financial support to the US East Coast & Central Ground Handling business, including weekly reporting, monthly reporting, budgets, and forecasts. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future, revenues, and expenses. Produce monthly financial statements/reports. Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations when needed Assist VP Finance and SSC, as necessary. Provide consistent compliance with generally acceptable accounting principles and support corporate governance • Must be able to interface with internal and external auditors as required. Travel may be required up to 15% of the time (domestic & international). Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for
Relevant financial qualification or qualification by experience. Must have strong organization and time management skills. Ability to plan, prioritize and complete projects within mission critical deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience Expertise in Excel and experience with Hyperion, modular accounting systems; Vision Exec and report writing experience a plus. Must have strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English. Aviation industry experience is a plus. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Ability to look at a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor within a very hectic work environment. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally utilizing various transportation methods.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
