This position will support the preparation of the short-term forecasting and long-term planning process, along with analyzing business performance and overall department spending. The Financial Analyst will develop an understanding of the business and create relevant reporting to enable management decision-making, seeking to maximize profitable growth. Additionally, this position will be heavily involved in process improvements related to forecasting, planning, and finance systems and tools. The role requires standing up and driving processes to deliver insights to the business and partnering with leaders to elevate planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
ResponsibilitiesProvide a foundation for optimizing financial decisions by assisting with the preparation of monthly forecasting, annual planning, and multi-year planning, as well as plan/forecast variance analysis and implementation of actionable analytics.Identify, understand, analyze, and provide insight into key performance metrics.Develop and maintain partnerships with key contacts throughout the business to understand and identify key expense drivers, issues, and opportunities.Communicate complex thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand results, using this information to forecast outlook and identify business risks and opportunities.Compile data from multiple sources, develop performance reports, and provide understanding of operational and financial performance to management.Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience.Coordinate efforts to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause, and recommend solutions.Create monthly and quarterly reporting packages.Support and participate in ad-hoc analysis.
Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of direct finance experience.Direct manufacturing industry experience.Experience with variance analysis, budget analysis, and KPI.Proficient in financial analysis and ERP software.SAP or Oracle experience.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, with a preference for Finance.
Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to use query tools and databases, with Hyperion Essbase being a plus.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to evaluate options and implement solutions.Exhibits a high sense of urgency and is results-oriented.Highly organized with attention to detail.Ability to create complex financial models.Adept at cultivating and maintaining relationships across different functions and at all levels within the organization.Experience with Power BI.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
