Job Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in completion of month-end accounting functions including preparation of journal entriesComplete relevant monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation of accounts in a timely mannerUpdate BOMs as per ECNs on a timely basisMaintains BOM changes/ECN documentationSetup new BOMs as required by Engineering/MaterialsUpdate current and Frozen cost with new purchase priceRun BOM revaluation as neededResolve any issues related to BOMsKey player during BOM cost reviewsProcess adjustments as per BOMs auditsUpdate current and Frozen cost with current FX rate ( Per business plan or as needed)Update EON Field in part master with component Purchase price as per business planChange BOM routing as required by ProductionCalculation of Product cost of FG parts for Business plan/ForecastsPrepare Cost/Inventory section of Audit file and/or other sections as needed.Cost of Quality reportingAssist in continuous improvement initiativesAssist with business plan and quarterly forecast process

Other Accounting Tasks:

Assist with corporate reportingUpdate KOI chartsPerform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplaceComply with the requirements of C-TPAT/PIPConduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of ConductReport all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behaviorAdhere to applicable quality systems and IATF16949 standardsAdhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee HandbookMaintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standardsPerform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeHaving or working towards CPA designation is an asset

EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years of relevant experiencePrior experience in the manufacturing  industry is an asset
