Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team on a transition-to-permanent basis in Katy, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing financial data, creating detailed reports, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who excels at working independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate business performance and identify trends. • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes. • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to address specific business needs or challenges. • Analyze and report on variances between actual and forecasted financial results. • Utilize data mining techniques to extract and interpret key financial metrics. • Create and deliver compelling financial presentations using PowerPoint. • Leverage advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive strategic decisions. • Work with tools such as Power BI to visualize data and create interactive dashboards. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • At least 1 year of experience in a financial analysis or similar analytical role. • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables and complex formulas. • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is highly desirable. • Strong ability to create detailed and impactful presentations using PowerPoint. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. • Effective communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
