What You’ll Do: A Financial Analyst at Munson Healthcare provides financial and analytical support to departments and leadership across the system. Responsibilities include: + Preparing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans + Analyzing trends and identifying root causes of variances + Performing journal entries and supporting month-end close + Supporting business planning, capital projects, and service line performance + Collaborating with operational leaders to provide insights on financial performance + Utilizing Munson’s BI and financial systems to generate reports and dashboards + Participating in process improvement and strategic initiatives What’s Required: Experience/Education + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent combination of education and experience) + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or multi-entity accounting environment, or public accounting + Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) and financial software + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills + Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines + Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis + CMA, CPA, or CHFP designation preferred The Benefits of Working at Munson: + Competitive salaries + Full benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off (up to 19 days your first year) + Tuition reimbursement and educational opportunities + Retirement savings plan with employer match and personal consulting + Wellness plans, employee assistance program, and employee discounts
