Financial Analyst
Mesa, AZ (Onsite) – Hybrid
$90-105K (commensurate with experience) plus 10% Bonus
Reports to: Director of Operational Finance
Background Required: 1 - 3 years in Accounting, FP&A, or Financial Data Analysis. Bachelors in accounting or finance required, MBA Preferred.

Reporting to the Director of Operational Finance, the Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, quantifying, presenting, budgeting, and forecasting retail performance. For this role, you should hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. This role will focus on quantifying and measuring retail store performance monthly to further support the Company’s growth objectives by driving performance optimization through data driven insights. The Analyst must be able to partner with Payroll, HR, Operations and current Finance Teams as required.
Responsibilities:
Supports the Director of Operational Finance with reporting, forecasting, budgeting, data mining, and ad hoc analysis Reporting & Analysis – assist in providing in-depth analysis of company performance and effectively communicating findings to relevant leadership team members. Forecasting – use historical trends, market conditions and other information to assist in the monthly and full year forecasts. Financial Planning – assist in the annual long-term financial planning process. Business Partnering – work closely with business partners to help drive improvements that will assist the company in reaching overall financial goals. Data mining - collects, analyzes, and produces data supporting the companies’ objectives to drive growth through performance improvement Ad Hoc Analysis & Projects – support evolving initiatives with a fast-growing business.Requirements & Skill:
1 - 3 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A, or another relevant field (Financial Data Analyst Role preferred) Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Accounting, FP&A, or another relevant degree (MBA preferred but not required) Excellent analytical skills and demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail while multi-tasking assignments, projects, and daily responsibilities. Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts Willingness to become subject matter expert in area of responsibility Strong communication skills Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information Strong statistical analysis, data visualization, data collection and cleaning skills required. Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) Proficiency with data analytic tools to collect, organize, and analyze large quantities of data. (Preferred understanding and experience in statistical programing languages such as VBA, Alteryx, Python, SQL, or Power BI). Retail industry experience is a plusBenefits
