Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Downtown, Cleveland - Hybrid/On-site

About the Role:
We're seeking a detail-driven Financial Analyst to join our team and play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights. This position blends financial reporting, data modeling, and business intelligence to help guide strategic decision-making across the organization. You'll collaborate with multiple departments, dig deep into large datasets, and deliver reporting solutions that drive efficiency and performance. MUST BE LOCATED IN THE GREATER CLEVELAND AREA.

What You'll Do:

Create and refine monthly financial reports, visual dashboards, and analytical tools for leadership review.

Use SQL to retrieve, combine, and interpret large volumes of data from multiple sources.

Translate business needs into tailored reports, KPIs, and data visualizations.

Build interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools to monitor performance trends.

Partner with department heads and senior management to address reporting requests and business challenges.

Audit and optimize existing Power BI reports to enhance accuracy and usability.

Develop and maintain advanced reporting models in SQL, Excel, and BI platforms.

Prepare clean, validated datasets for forecasting, predictive analytics, and trend analysis.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to automate processes and streamline reporting workflows.

Identify and track key metrics to evaluate both current operations and long-term performance trends.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, finance, or accounting.

Expert-level SQL query writing and data extraction skills.

Advanced Excel skills and deep experience with Power BI; Tableau experience is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

Financial modeling and statement preparation experience is a plus.

Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
