The Opportunity:
The Financial Analyst (FA) will work with the Sr. Manager, Financial Controllership as well as the America´s Shared Service Center to support the finance functions for OpenText’s Brazil Entities. The FA will be an integral part of the accounting and finance cycle, providing support to the Global Finance team, and assisting in finance related activities as well as regional requirements for the legal entities in Brazil and Mexico. The FA will be a significant contributor to the America´s Shared Service Center group.
What The Role Offers:
Financial processes in Brazil involving accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash applications.Financial closing processes (month, quarter and year ending) including preparation of any required data/reports to accomplish the results.Compliance with all applicable Corporate and local regulations involving financial activities above mentioned (SOX, internal procedures, local requirements).Accounting reconciliations and general ledger process including accounting team´s support on the preparation of accounting reconciliationsRelationship with America´s Shared Service Center Team as well as Local Tax Outsourcing/consultancyDesirable skills on withholding taxes applied in both customers and vendor transactions
What You Need To Succeed:
3+ years of finance experienceStrong collaboration and organizational skillsMust be meticulous and detail-orientedCapable of working independently, multi-tasking to establish priorities, and completing objectives without supervision in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in EnglishDesirable Spanish language skillsAdvanced Excel skillsKnowledge SAP and Power BI is an assetBachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
