Description
We are looking for a skilled Compensation Analyst to join our FinTech client in New York, New York, as part of a long-term contract opportunity with potential for permanent hire. This position will be instrumental in analyzing and executing monthly sales commission calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring four days of onsite presence.
Responsibilities:
+ Accurately calculate and update monthly sales commissions, quarterly/annual bonuses based on performance data, compensation plans, and commissions policies
+ Analyze compensation and position data, preparing reports (both recurring and ad-hoc), budgets, models and identify trends and patterns
+ Maintain and enhance detailed commission models in Excel/Google Sheets
+ Review large datasets for accuracy and completeness; identify and resolve discrepancies documenting root cause issues and proposing process updates for solutioning
+ Partner with the People Team to prepare and maintain job descriptions, analyze jobs and their respective duties and determine appropriate salary ranges; perform benchmarking to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position
+ Partner with teams across the business (Finance, People Team, RevOps, and Sales Ops) to validate input data, particularly from systems like Salesforce
+ Provide support for financial reporting, financial audits, and headcount-related analytics
+ Ensure compensation programs are administered in alignment with company policies, and that pay plans are accurate and consistent and in compliance with federal and state regulations
+ Document processes and continuously seek out opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.3–5 years of experience in compensation or financial analysis
+ Outstanding Excel/Google Sheets skills
+ High level of maturity and trustworthiness when handling confidential compensation and personnel data
+ Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in working with numbers and structured data
+ Proven experience working with large datasets and reconciling data from multiple sources
+ Strong analytical and communication skills
+ Experience working remotely with U.S.-based teams, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
+ Preferred systems experience with Salesforce & Rippling
