Description
We are looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our client's growing team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial management across multiple business units. You will work closely with leadership to analyze financial data, develop projections, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee budgeting processes across multiple business units, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures and revenues.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and forecasting to assist leadership in strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain budget-monitoring tools, including dashboards and formal reports.
• Collaborate with departments to prepare proposals, forecasts, and budgets while offering policy guidance and recommendations.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on historical financial performance to identify trends and present actionable insights.
• Monitor relevant legislation and industry developments, assessing their potential impact on financial strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations based on data analysis to inform key stakeholders.
• Support special projects by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
• Maintain strong working relationships across departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of experience in budgeting, accounting, or financial analysis, with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze large datasets, detect discrepancies, and prepare accurate financial reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex financial concepts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with diverse teams.
