Description We are looking for a Budget Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in College Park, Georgia. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial modeling and analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance assessments. Responsibilities: • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making. • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to address specific business needs and challenges. • Analyze budget performance and provide actionable insights to optimize resource allocation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project budgets and ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Support forecasting efforts by preparing and analyzing data to predict future financial outcomes. • Utilize data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from complex datasets. • Monitor and report on budget adherence, identifying areas for cost-saving measures. • Provide recommendations to enhance financial processes and drive operational efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis, including variance analysis and forecasting. • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting techniques. • Ability to perform ad hoc analyses and deliver clear insights to stakeholders. • Familiarity with data mining methods for extracting and interpreting financial data. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication abilities to present financial findings effectively. • Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
