Financial Analyst
Description We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join our team at DFW Airport, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position involves supporting key financial processes, including monthly accounting close, forecasting, and detailed financial analysis. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across departments to deliver actionable insights and drive process improvements. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed financial analyses and reporting to support Supply Chain Operations and the Controller. • Participate in the monthly accounting close process by preparing journal entries, accruals, and conducting variance analysis. • Build and refine tools to monitor and evaluate financial model performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting and analysis processes. • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain Regional Management and rental operations, to deliver insights and solutions. • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate trends and metrics to key stakeholders. • Analyze and interpret supply chain operating metrics, providing actionable recommendations based on current trends. • Respond to ad-hoc requests from business partners by creating customized reports and delivering clear findings. • Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement of financial processes through technology and innovation. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a financial analysis or related role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, macros, pivot tables, and data visualization tools. • Familiarity with Oracle Financial Systems, Smart View, Tableau, and SQL. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within teams. • Solid organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Knowledge of financial statement analysis and reporting techniques.
