Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to assist a client with a 3-month long contract, on a part-time basis. This contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who excels in financial modeling, variance analysis, and crafting detailed reports tailored to strategic decision-making. The role requires a strong ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights for leadership teams. This role will offer 20 hours per week and will be on-site to start, with potential for hybrid work, after the initial ramp up period. Responsibilities: • Create comprehensive five-year budget projection templates that integrate historical trends, anticipated revenues, and forecasted expenditures across divisions and funding streams. • Collaborate with organizational and county leadership to ensure budget projections align with strategic priorities and fiscal goals. • Provide detailed financial insights to support the strategic and fiscal oversight, including identifying funding gaps and potential risks. • Develop clear, user-friendly monthly financial reports for the client that outline funding streams, expenditures, and key trends. • Highlight financial variances and risks while recommending budget adjustments or programmatic changes to address identified issues. • Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to support ad hoc analyses and data-driven decision-making. • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to optimize budget allocations. • Leverage data mining techniques to extract, organize, and analyze financial information for reporting purposes. • Ensure all financial reports and projections meet compliance standards and organizational requirements. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field. • Proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, and data interpretation. • Strong knowledge of ad hoc financial analysis techniques and tools. • Experience using data mining methods to extract and organize financial data. • Ability to develop long-term budget templates and monthly financial reports. • Excellent communication skills to present financial insights to leadership and stakeholders. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting. • Familiarity with non-profit financial management is preferred.
