Financial Analyst
Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for producing and acquiring exclusive original content for a global audience. We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst II for a contractor role within our Residuals department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-growth stage team with broad responsibilities, contributing to the end-to-end residual process and working closely with production and legal teams.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the Residuals team by tracking and reviewing union deliverables and establishing the appropriate affiliation by project.Update department trackers to align with the current production status of projects.Own the residual estimate calculation/process for SVOD, Theatrical, and Pay TV productions in the worldwide active cycle.Respond to inquiries from internal and external business partners.Collaborate with functional leaders and other finance partners to build scalable financial processes and business metrics.Test new system requirements and work with the tech team to address issues as they arise.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.5-7 years of relevant residual work experience.Intermediate knowledge of SAG, DGA, WGA, IATSE, and AFM union collective bargaining agreements.Advanced knowledge of PACT/Equity and MEAA union collective bargaining agreements as related to residual calculations.Intermediate knowledge of Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business partners.Experience with SQL.Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication.Comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management.Work Environment

Ideally, the position is fully onsite. There is potential for a 3-day onsite and 2-day work-from-home schedule for the right candidate. The team consists of 11-13 members, with a focus on supporting the distribution team to monetize assets. The role involves automating the residual calculation system and training the team on its use.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $42.00/hr.
