Financial Analyst | St. Pete, FL Job Description This role is designed to assist with an ERP implementation. Under general supervision, you will leverage specialized knowledge and skills acquired through education and experience to review financial items and perform varied moderately complex accounting activities. Responsibilities + Complete reviews of financial items and processes, with an understanding of accounting concepts and accrual-based practices. + Collect and analyze financial data. + Analyze and evaluate financial statement impacts from allocated costs. + Ability to research and resolve moderately complex problems. + Prepare reports and information for quick reviews. + Assist with identifying potential improvements to increase efficiency and workflows for the analysis and processing of financials. + Analyzes and reconciles general ledger accounts to ensure proper classification and information integrity. + Perform financial calculations and reviews. + Manage and track multiple assignments with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Assist with the testing of new system abilities. + Assist with creating procedures and process flowcharts Essential Skills + Financial analysis & reporting + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance + Minimum of three years of reconciliation, accounting, and analytical experience + Advanced accounting concepts, practices, and procedures + Accrual-based accounting practices + Accounting software packages + Advanced cost allocation concepts and practices Additional Skills & Qualifications + PeopleSoft experience is a plus + Skill in allocating costs and evaluating the impact on financial statements + Ability to prepare surveys and analyze financial information + Proficiency in performing mathematical calculations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $39.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
