Financial Analyst

Verify biweekly that the PACSB file is on the mainframe for payroll processingInitiate payroll biweekly for processing and posting to the IRS accounting systemMonitor payroll processing and correct all BDC session errorsCreate all payroll reconciliations for managerial review and GAO audit supportCreate and distribute biweekly the Annual Leave and Future PP transaction ReportsCreate and distribute weekly ORGA Compare reports to BUsReverse monthly payroll system accrualsEdit and prepare AINFC Overview document for GAO deliveryUpload all ORGA files to the mainframe and monitor the processing jobsUpload all ORGA files to the TAPS Share drive for timekeeping tasksCreate and send for management review the payroll reconciliations delivered to GAO for audit supportReview and edit the Financial Data Process Flow for payrollCoordinate yearly with the audit team to schedule GAO payroll walkthroughsPrepare all GAO payroll walkthrough materialsLead the GAO payroll walkthroughs and provide walkthrough deliverablesSubmit to NFC various payroll rejects for research and resolutionPerform various mainframe tasks in support of payroll processing and error correctionCoordinate with NFC for early delivery of payroll accounting and personnel files, as neededSchedule and host coordination meetings for special Saturday payroll Processing, as neededInitiate and monitor periodic Special Payroll AccrualsDeliver ahead of the due dates all GAO PBC audit itemsDelete items from ETS2 & GOVTRIP circular error file upon request

HOW A FINANCIAL ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Performs financial analysis and reporting in order to monitor finances associated with business operations

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: IBM mainframe utilites
● Security Clearance Level: MBI
● Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Federal payroll accounting practices.
