Job Description
This role is designed to assist with an ERP implementation. Under general supervision, you will leverage specialized knowledge and skills acquired through education and experience to review financial items and perform varied moderately complex accounting activities.
ResponsibilitiesReview financial items using specialized knowledge and skills.Perform varied moderately complex accounting activities.Find solutions to moderately complex problems.Prepare reports in a format that can be quickly reviewed.Identify potential improvements to increase efficiency in workflows processing or analyzing financial information.Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure proper classification and integrity of information.Resolve or recommend solutions to moderately complex problems.Perform mathematical calculations.Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.Test new systems abilities.Create procedures and process documentation.Essential SkillsFinancial analysis & reportingBachelor’s degree in accounting or financeMinimum of three years of reconciliation accounting and analytical experienceAdvanced accounting concepts, practices, and proceduresAccrual-based accounting practicesAccounting software packagesAdvanced cost allocation concepts and practicesAdditional Skills & QualificationsPeoplesoft experience is a plusSkill in allocating costs and evaluating the impact on financial statementsAbility to prepare surveys and analyze financial informationProficiency in performing mathematical calculationsSkill in operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databasesAbility to lead meetings and contribute to team effortsCapability to implement changes to standard procedures when requiredCapacity to work independently and make non-routine decisionsWork EnvironmentEnjoy a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to work from home on Fridays. The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $39.00/hr.
