Description
We are offering a hybrid employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Irvine, California. The Financial Analyst role is crucial to our team as it involves processing documentation, conducting model analysis, and collaborating with teammates under our Operations Finance department. The Financial Analyst role is also pivotal in understanding the risk adjustment programs, the process, and analytics/models involved across CDOs.
Responsibilities:
+ Analyze and document processes related to risk adjustment programs across CDOs.
+ Interpret and support model analytics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Operations Finance to enhance process efficiency.
+ Partner with stakeholders to collect and validate data for model performance assessments.
+ Deliver routine and ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
+ Assist in project management activities including planning, execution, and follow-up reporting.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
+ Prepare executive-level summaries and reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
+ Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned financial and analytical tasks.
+ Maintain data integrity and compliance with internal and external policies and standards.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, analytics, or a related field.
Industry Background: Prior experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred.
Skills:
+ Strong project management capabilities.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
+ Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies.
+ Familiarity with risk adjustment programs and related analytics is a plus.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Work Environment: Hybrid (on-site and remote), business casual dress code.
