Financial Analyst

Purpose of role:
The primary purpose of the role is to support the SFA in delivery a robust control environment, support the month end close process.
Support the proper, accurate and timely submission of tax returns and supporting compliance in area of tax, duties, and other regulatory requirements. Supporting the SFA on managing the treasury processes and policy in the country.
Participate & contribute to business process improvement and simplification initiative.
In this role You will:
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls, the Group Reporting Manual, and local regulationsSupport timely and correct tax filing (e.g., VAT, withholding, annual and quarterly returns) and respond to tax queriesContribute to business planning and cost forecasting, working closely with internal stakeholdersAssist with statutory audits, balance sheet assurance, and due diligence processesOversee treasury processes including reconciliation of bank accounts and cash management in line with central bank requirementsEnsure timely processing of accounts payable and intercompany transactionsMonitor debtor balances and ensure credit compliance and recovery proceduresParticipate in cross-functional improvement initiatives and contribute to operational simplificationWhat You will need to be successful:
A recognized national or international finance/accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CMA)6–8 years of relevant post-qualification experience or significant equivalent business experienceStrong knowledge of local tax laws and financial compliance practicesHands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, and good analytical skills using tools like Power BIHigh attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesA collaborative approach with the ability to engage cross-functional teams across regionsFlexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities, diverse teams, and fast-paced changes across time zonesIt would be beneficial to also have:
Experience working in multinational or regional environments with varied regulatory frameworksFamiliarity with performance management, statutory audits, and treasury operationsA proactive mindset for identifying process improvementsEffective interpersonal and negotiation skills, with confidence in influencing othersWhy join us?
