Description Job Title: Grant Accountant Salary: Up to $75,000 starting pay Industry: Healthcare Location: Saginaw, Hybrid Robert Half is partnering with one of their well-established health care clients on their recruitment efforts to find a full-time, direct hire, Grant Accountant. They are committed to supporting meaningful healthcare projects through secure funding. In line with their growth, this is a newly added role and is an exciting time to join their organization. Role: The successful candidate will handle the financial responsibilities related to our grants, including accounting and financial reporting to ensure compliance with grant regulations. Responsibilities: + Manage the financial elements of grant funding, including budgeting, tracking, and reconciliation. + Prepare financial reports for each grant, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines. + Interpret financial data and provide insights for management decisions related to grant funding. + Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure the correct implementation of accounting systems and procedures. + Ensure all grant funds are allocated and expensed correctly according to each grant stipulation. + Maintain records of grants in accordance with established accounting procedures. + Communicate regularly with grant program managers to ensure the accurate and timely processing of grant budget adjustments and amendments. Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. + Experience in the healthcare or non-profit industries would be a plus.
