Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst in Sauget, IL. This role is hybrid, (2-3 days in office after training). Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented financial professional to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role involves working with cross-functional teams, creating reports and templates, performing variance analyses, and contributing to ongoing process and system improvements. Key Responsibilities: * Present summary reports and financial forecasts to leadership * Analyze forecasting data for accuracy and consistency * Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts, budgets, and related presentation materials * Support month-end reporting and performance analysis across income statement and balance sheet * Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of forecasting tasks * Develop tools and templates to streamline budgeting and forecasting processes * Perform variance analyses comparing forecasts and budgets to actual results * Maintain and enter budget/forecast data in financial systems, including preparing supplemental reports * Assist in preparing and consolidating monthly financial statements * Leverage financial tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, business intelligence software) to enhance reporting efficiency * Generate and distribute financial reports, responding to management inquiries as needed * Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making * Review reporting outputs for accuracy and ensure forecasts are properly validated * Participate in the improvement of financial reporting tools and systems * Coordinate with internal and external teams to understand system processes and data integrations * Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting platforms
