Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst with Robert Half’s FTEP team, your responsibilities will vary depending on client assignments but may include:
+ Conducting financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for client organizations.
+ Building and maintaining complex financial models to measure performance, drive data-driven decisions, and optimize efficiency.
+ Providing variance analysis and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and root causes.
+ Preparing detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support executive decision-making.
+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams at client organizations to ensure alignment on financial plans and corporate strategies.
+ Analyzing market trends, business performance, and operational data to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
+ Supporting clients with mergers, acquisitions, and other special projects requiring financial expertise.
+ Assisting in the implementation or optimization of financial systems and software, ensuring data accuracy and reporting integrity.
+ Partnering with clients’ senior leaders to provide actionable insights and recommendations grounded in financial analysis.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
+ A minimum of 3–5 years of financial analysis experience, ideally in budgeting, forecasting, modeling, or reporting.
+ Advanced knowledge of Excel, including complex formulas, financial modeling, and pivot tables. Experience with other tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a strong bonus.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
+ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
+ Exceptional communication abilities to convey data-driven insights and tell compelling stories through numbers.
+ Flexibility to adapt quickly to different industries, client expectations, and diverse team environments.
