Financial Analyst

Job Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Controlling Department at SSC Bielsko-Biała. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in controlling and a passion for continuous improvement. As member of our finance team, you will be responsible for controlling and financial reporting activities for 2 legal entities in Nordic region – Finland and Norway, reporting to UK & Nordics Financial Controller. These activities include month-end closing under US GAAP, forecasting and budgeting, as well as assisting in annual audit & ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and SOX.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication skills and is eager to grow in a dynamic, international environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and review the company’s monthly Actual group management accounts under US GAAP Lead the preparation process for the company’s annual budget and quarterly forecasts Providing input to external consultants preparing financial statements Ensure comprehensive audit documentation and involvement in cooperation with auditors to enable timely submission of financial statements. Assist in the preparation of tax computations and returns, VAT Supervise the internal control processes within the finance function Supervise and set credit limits for customers, including D&B checks and the interface with Group credit controllers & manage the process of monitoring and collecting receivables

 

Qualifications & Skills University Degree in Finance and Accounting 3 years of experience in Finance/Controlling SAP knowledge (FI/CO) Previous exposure to statutory financial reporting Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting processes Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Fluent in English US GAAP & SOX knowledge is an asset We offer
