The Architecture and Design (A&D) business unit is in search of a finance professional who is motivated to grow their financial career. A&D is one of the fastest growing business units in Construction, and is made up of high performing products and channels selling software and services to the construction industry around the world. This is a dynamic business unit with significant recurring revenue and exciting growth prospects for the future. The role provides a great opportunity for a financial professional to meaningfully impact the results of a significant business unit within Trimble.

What You Will Do:
A successful candidate will look to continuously improve the processes and reporting to provide value-add modeling and analysis. Through working with the AVP of FP&A and your peers, this role is a great opportunity to immediately make contributions that shape the direction of Trimble’s future business models.
Lead in annual and long-term financial planning for the business unit
Oversee the business unit’s monthly forecast submission via Adaptive Planning, ensuring thoroughness, efficiency, timeliness, and completeness
Present financial results and metrics (monthly, quarterly, annually) with insightful narrative and analysis
Serve as the key business partner to the business unit and cross-functional leadership team
Work with business unit and cross-functional leaders to align business drivers and financial implications with business goals
Perform scenario analysis and risk assessments to support operational and strategic decisions
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering collaboration and professional growth
Collaborate with accounting, financial systems, reporting teams, and business unit peers to promote a collaborative growth environment within the AECO Sector
Support strategic projects and initiatives
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
BS/BA in finance or accounting
Minimum 5 years of finance experience, ideally at a SaaS company.
Previous people management experience
Experience with enterprise ERP systems, Domo (or similar Business Intelligence tools), Adaptive Planning, Salesforce or other leading CRM
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
Intermediate knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
