The Financial Advisor in Training position is the first step within the AAC’s career path journey.
In this role you will receive the support and training necessary to obtain your SIE, Series 7, Series 66 and life insurance licenses. Once you obtain the required licensing, you will be eligible to forward your career by joining a financial advising team.
Once on a team you will start working directly with clients on their service needs as training and development continues via on-the-job mentorship, in classroom and online training, and coaching sessions. Our training program is designed to help advisors build a deep understanding of products, services, systems, and tools needed to provide high quality advice to clients.
The Ameriprise Advisor Center also believes in supporting advisors' development by offering competitive compensation, tuition reimbursement, and internal support to obtain professional designations like CFP® certification. High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metric driven environment. Ability to build high quality relationships through virtual and phone-based conversations. Active SIE, or ability to obtain within the timeframe determined by the Ameriprise Advisor Center. Ability to obtain, Series 7, Series 66 (or Series 63 & 56) and life/accident/health and variable contracts insurance license the timeframe determined by the Ameriprise Advisor Center.Preferred Qualifications

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $45,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
