What you will do:

Prepare monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/yearly royalty calculationsCommunicate with various parties (legal, tax, R&D, divisional finance) to obtain royalty contracts and verify the completeness and accuracy of calculations in accordance with contractual termsPrepare invoices/credit memos and follow up on outstanding payments with I2P teamsCalculate and review monthly royalty accrualsCreate and submit withholding tax forms for approvalPerform general ledger accounting operations for month-end close activities including posting journal entries, and preparing reconciliations for balance sheet accountsPrepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensures accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principlesExecuting controls (SOX)First point of contact for stakeholders on royalty inquiries (including key customers and internal directors)  Support on audit queries (external and internal)Identify and implement process improvementsCoaching team members and reviewing calculations prepared by junior staff

What you need:

Minimum Bachelor/HBO in Accounting or equivalent certification2-3 years of experience in an accounting positionCommunication, be able to effectively interact with all levels within the companyFluent spoken and written English (including reviewing business contracts in English)Strong Excel skillsEnergetic, flexible, collaborative and proactiveAccustomed to work on dynamic, fast paced environmentFamiliar with internal control concepts and accrual accounting standardsShared Service experience is preferredExperience in ERP systems
