The mission of the Financial Accountant R2R is to ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of the company’s books, records and financial reports (local and USGAAP).
What you will do
Perform accounting tasks, including preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements).
Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
Analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and regulatory reports.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit processes.
Prepare and submit VAT declarations and other compliance-related filings.
Execute internal controls, including those required under SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley).
Prepare and post journal entries across different ERP systems, contributing to ongoing process improvements.
Support accounting projects, documentation efforts, and provide guidance to Junior Accountants.
What you need
Required:
Fluency in English
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent certification
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting (e.g., GL, A2R)
Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or other internal control concepts
Strong Excel skills
Experience in ERP systems
Preferred:
Knowledge of USGAAP
Travel Percentage: 10%
