Reports To: Financial Controls & Compliance Manager
Location: Gillingham / Hybrid
Overview:
Reporting to the Manager for Control + Compliance, the candidate will be responsible for Statutory Accounts and Technical accounting
Job Responsibilities:
The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:
Statutory accounts preparation. This includes 14 statutory entities and 6 dormant entities in the UK and Ireland.Group accounts and consolidation of foreign subsidiariesPosting and maintenance of leases in compliance with US GAAP standards.Maintaining a strict controls process to ensure compliance with internal policiesPosting of tax entriesAssessment of technical accounting measures as they arise and implementation of any new accounting standardsSupport Finance team with closing out of any Internal Audit mattersProvide support to foreign subsidiaries with any technical accounting issuesCompany secretarial dutiesAd hoc projects /tasks as requiredJob Skills & Experience Required:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following:
Qualifications:
Newly qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMASkill & Experience:
Have good technical knowledge of US GAAP and FRS102 standardsKnowledge of Caseware softwareBe able to work with a complex accounting packageBe proficient in excel at an advanced levelPerson Specification:
