Job Description
Our client is a global leader in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industry, developing cutting-edge hardware and software used to assess infrastructure integrity in real time. Headquartered in Switzerland with a growing U.S. presence, they are seeking a Temporary Financial Accountant for a 36 month assignment to help stabilize and streamline financial operations during a period of growth. This hands-on role involves supporting a small, collaborative team and mentoring a newly hired junior staff member. Ideal candidates are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.
Support month-end closing processes and ensure timely financial reporting
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows
Post and reconcile daily banking transactions
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements and documentation standards
Contribute to building team capability by sharing expertise and best practices
Collaborate with other departments and support general office administration as needed
Answer phones and assist with cross-functional tasks in a small business setting
Support payroll processes as needed and ensure accuracy of related entries

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (Associates degree acceptable with relevant experience)
ERP system experience required; SAP strongly preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a small team and taking initiative
Experience supporting the professional growth of colleagues through guidance and knowledge sharing
Process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and documentation null
