As a Financial Accountant, you will manage a growing client portfolio across a leading sector. Your responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS, crafting complex consolidation workings, and supporting year-end audit processes. You'll address client technical queries, enhance your technical knowledge, and build strong client relationships. You'll also mentor junior staff, ensuring their development and the successful completion of assignments.

Manage a diverse portfolio, executing accounting tasks with precision and compliance. Prepare accurate financial statements and detailed consolidation workings. Support audits and address technical queries with thorough research and team collaboration. Develop advanced technical expertise through continuous learning and training. Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining transparency and resolving queries.

Requirements for the role:

ACCA or ACA qualification with proven experience in statutory and management accounts. Minimum of 2 years out of Audit exposure. Expertise in UK GAAP and practical experience in the professional services sector. Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and colleagues. Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel, and familiarity with accounting software like Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero. Analytical thinking with commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail. Professionalism, reliability, and adaptability under pressure.
