Job DescriptionReporting to our Financial Reporting Director, you will sit within the London-based Financial Reporting team and support Jellyfish International.
You will ensure statutory reporting, audit (IFRS and local GAAP), and tax compliance across multiple international jurisdictions. Your work also involves several recurring monthly and ad-hoc tasks, working with the Financial Reporting Director and the broader finance team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Help with annual statutory Financial Statement audit process with external auditors for multiple Jellyfish International subsidiaries, ensuring all compliance deadlines are metAssist local accounting partners with the preparation and review of the annual Corporate Income Tax Return and any other annual tax requirements (CbCR, CVAE), ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.Support with the preparation and review of indirect tax (VAT) submissions and any other local tax submissions (WHT, PAYE, Sii reporting, national statistics filings), identifying process efficiencies for indirect tax and partnering with local tax advisors to implement best practice processes.Support the year-end consolidated group auditHelp prepare statutory accounts for the Jellyfish Consolidated Group including all detailed footnote disclosurePrepare supporting documents for the audit process such as AA06 forms, Directors Remuneration CertificatesPrepare and maintain schedules of tax payments, charges and accruals globally.Help with process documentation to support SOX/Internal Controls frameworkAssist with the calculation of the Group Transfer Pricing model and quarterly charges, along with local and master files prepared by our external consultants.Support in compiling important IFRS calculations equivalents (along with US GAAP equivalents) along with supporting schedules for audit for the following standards: IFRS 16 - Leases, IFRS 9 - Financial Instruments, IAS 38 - Intangible Assets, IFRS 3 - Business CombinationsQualificationsCA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent); part-qualified candidates with hands-on experienceBackground in accounting/audit, with exposure to large groups and multinational structuresExperience in global consolidations, including accounting eliminationsTechnical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP (FRS 102)Experience with audits across multiple jurisdictions.Ability to work independently and simultaneously balance multiple projects and processesAbility to help design clear process delivery and to help facilitate changeFunctions well under pressure; consistently pay attention to accuracy and quality of work.Proficiency with Google and/or Microsoft Office Suites, with experience using Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel to perform complex data analysis including Pivot TablesAdditional Information
