What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?
The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

What is your role and surroundings?
 We are looking for an Prototype Controller VIE who will provide support to the Engineering Division, and who will be based in Columbus, IN - US. 


The role of the Prototype Controller is to manage the controlling of the Prototype shop in order to guarantee and optimize its financial performance and competitiveness.
 
What will be your main missions?

Ensure compliance to all financial proceduresDevelop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policiesParticipate to the definition of IT tools and ERP to improve Prototype controlling.Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, …), and internal control basicsProvide reliable financial/controlling information in close relationship with other operational and support functionsSupport all financial forecasting processes (budget, periodic forecast, …)Support reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay complianceEnsure reliability of CostingSupport all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis/actual vs. quoted costs, margin/programs, plant budgetary control, and follow up of sales and purchasing prices,…Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing/validating proper finance informationControl and manage the plant’s operating cash flow (capex, inventories, overdues)In liaison with Shared Service Center provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors, and others local external authoritiesAct as a business partner toward the plant management, and provide recommendation to the managementParticipate, with the management of the plant, in the development of action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operational targets, increase plant’s financial profitability and cash optimization (especially identification and implementation of productivity plans)Follow financial impact and progress of action plansEnsure financial awareness of plant operational teams

 

The mission will last 18 months.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

What you need to join us?

Master’s degree in Business with Finance MajorFirst experience in controlling, or significant apprenticeship experience in controlling preferably in industrial environmentComputer literate and good knowledge of IT systems, strong Excel skillsSolid accounting knowledge Strong teamwork Demonstrate strong communication skills and autonomyFluent English
