Finance Trainee – Accounts Payable Grand Hyatt Barcelona
Step into the dynamic world of Finance at Grand Hyatt Barcelona, a prestigious 5-star Grand Luxury hotel where precision, integrity, and excellence drive our daily operations. As a Finance Trainee focused on Accounts Payable, you’ll gain practical experience supporting the hotel’s financial processes while developing core skills in accounting, supplier relations, and administrative management. Over a 6-month internship, you’ll work alongside our Finance team, learning to handle invoices, verify data, and assist with reconciliations—all while contributing to the smooth running of our Finance Department.
What You’ll Do:
Support the reception, review, and basic recording of invoices.
Assist in verifying tax and administrative data on documents.
Help organize and maintain physical and digital files for invoices and payment receipts.
Support the preparation of simple reports or reconciliations under supervision.
Follow up with suppliers to confirm receipt of payments or request missing information.
Assist with general administrative tasks in the Finance area as needed.
Who You Are:
Current university student (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field)
Available to start the internship in August/September for a6-month period
High level of Spanish is mandatory (spoken and written); English is a plus
Good Excel skills and confident using Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numerical data
Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced, professional environment
Effective communicator, able to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments
Able to sign a university collaboration agreement
Legally authorized to work in Spain or enrolled in an EU-approved internship program
