PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
SunSystems is a Partnership Financial Solution for all Offices (National Office, Regional Office and Global Centre). It is fully integrated software application including financial and business management modules. Designed for international organizations and is capable to integrate with different systems (ie Horizon, Coupa). Under the guidance of the Finance Systems Team Lead and or Finance Systems Manager, the Finance Systems Support Associate is responsible in providing business and technical support to WVI SunSystems across the partnership. This position will provide assistance to Finance Systems Team Lead and or Finance Systems Manager on WVI SunSystems global projects and initiatives. The position is responsible in the development of general templates/partnership reports which includes sorting of requirement/s, data gathering and analysis, close coordination with stakeholders and all the way through testing, implementation and deployment. Perform other significant tasks such as performing regular system maintenance and integrating SunSystems with other systems.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resolve escalated system issues and provide higher level support.Manage and provide business and technical support to SunSystems and its related tools.Troubleshoot reported issues/errors and provide appropriate solutions and workaround. Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to arrive at solutions.Thoroughly guide users on proper handling and implementing the solution/s. Provide support through phone, chat, email or remote session.Develop, improve and socialize standard financial reporting templates. This includes sorting and gathering customer requirements, analysing gaps and needs, coordinating with stakeholders and partners from testing, implementation to deployment.Responsible in the implementation of SunSystems major projects and enhancements. Provide assistance to Team Lead and or Manager on SunSystems global initiatives.Provide expertise and support to other projects or initiatives that WVI may implement in SunSystems such as system standardization and centralization, and integration to other systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcome.Identify opportunities for system improvements and work with senior staff and IT to implement changes.Test and deploy new features and updates.Ensure servers and applications are operational and working optimally. This includes administering and maintaining SunSystems servers and databases in partnership and collaboration with the vendor and GTD.Assist FD&C and the rest of GFS leadership in various assignments, tasks and projects as may be assigned.Attend and participate in meetings, conferences, workshops, etc.Attend and participate in chapel services, daily and group devotions Promote World Vision’s values through example and hold others accountable for the same across the teamPerform all other duties that may be assigned.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's/University Degree specialized in IT (i.e. Computer Engineer & Computer Science) 2-4 years of technical and advanced SunSystems and PMQA skills, or equivalent experience2-3 years of strong technical/IT training experienceHas proven expertise in MS Office Applications especially in Excel andHas some experience in basic SQL Script and MacrosHas at least 2-4 years of experience in customer supportAble to communicate effectivelyCan productively and efficiently work with customers and stakeholders across timezones and culture.Applicant Types Accepted:
