Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Systems Analyst to support the day-to-day operations, enhancements, and continuous improvement of our Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM systems. Reporting to the Director of Financial Systems, this role will play a critical hands-on role in system testing, issue resolution, reporting, and user support across Finance.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment, understands finance operations, and enjoys supporting enterprise-wide system initiatives in a high-growth, evolving organization.
Position Responsibilities
Support daily operations of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM, including issue tracking, resolution, and coordination with IT and business stakeholders.Troubleshoot and investigate Finance system issues (e.g., project setup, transaction processing, integration errors, reporting discrepancies).Maintain and update test scripts; assist in executing user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements and quarterly releases.Support validation activities related to data integrations with systems such as Concur, Workday, Salesforce, and EPM.Support development, testing, and maintenance of reports and dashboards using tools like SplashBI and Oracle EPM.Respond to reporting requests from Accounting, FP&A, and other Finance teams, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Help reconcile data across systems and assist with identifying root causes of data discrepancies.Assist the Director of Financial Systems with project coordination tasks such as meeting notes, issue tracking, and testing logistics.Document system configurations, testing outcomes, and process changes as part of ongoing support and project delivery.Help monitor the health of finance systems by tracking KPIs, defects, and enhancements.Provide first-line support to Finance end users, including troubleshooting, “how-to” questions, and access setup.Assist in developing and delivering training materials, system documentation, and user guides for new processes or system changes.Help coordinate communication related to system updates, outages, and upcoming changes.Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and recommend process or system improvementsCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure Finance systems continue to meet evolving business needs.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.5-7 year of experience in Finance and Accounting processes2+ years of experience supporting enterprise Finance systems (ERP or EPM).Functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP (Revenue, Order Management, General Ledger, Projects, Payables, etc.) and Oracle EPM (Planning, Forecasting, Reporting).Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets and reconciliations.Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
Experience with SplashBI, Smart View, or other BI/reporting tools.Familiarity with government contracting, project-based accounting, or manufacturing environments.Prior experience supporting system integrations (e.g., Concur, Salesforce, Workday).Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsClear, concise verbal and written communicationAttention to detail and accuracyTeam player with a customer service mindsetOrganized and able to manage multiple prioritiesPhysical Demands

U.S. CitizenThe salary range for this role is:
$88,000 - $124,740AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
ITAR Requirement:
This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
