The Opportunity

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Supply Chain works onsite at our Plymouth, MN location for the Electrophysiology (EP) Medical Device division. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. This leader will play a critical role in supporting and advising the Supply Chain team, overseeing the financial performance, ensuring strategic alignment between supply chain activities and financial goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep expertise in cost accounting, and will be responsible for providing insights, driving cost optimization, and supporting decision-making processes that will contribute to the achievement of the organization's short and long-term financial goals.

 
What You’ll Work On

Act as a trusted finance advisor to the Supply Chain and Operations teams.Partner with Supply Chain and Operations team to align financial objectives and operational goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new business opportunities and new products, by modeling alternative financial scenarios, identifying cost-savings opportunities across supply chain, including inventory, and procurement.Design, develop, and publish financial dashboards to analyze performance, identify key trends, variances, productivity metrics and KPI’s.Support strategic planning, scenario modeling, and long-term operations strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams in the development and execution of the financial forecast, budgets, and long-term plans.Lead the development and clearly identify the annual strategic path to achieve divisional and operational financial goals.Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and develop solutions collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Responsible for compliance with all applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and proceduresEmployee management, coaching and development through financial education and training.

 
Required Qualifications

Four-year degree in Finance or Accounting.10+ years of combined experience in accounting, cost accounting and financial planning and analysis.Strong Excel and enterprise system skills, Power BI experience is a plus.Minimum 5 years of Direct management/supervisory experience. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.Ability to lead teams, influence and engage others to accomplish projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
