Overview The role of the Finance Sr. Analyst, External Reporting is to support the organization, through its functions, with the accurate and timely tax and statutory reporting of PepsiCo Beverages Canada’s financial information, as well as to ensure that all transfer pricing models and strategies are appropriately maintained and implemented. What you can expect from us: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to fit your unique needs A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole-self to work Inspiring positive change for people and the planet with sustainability goals A supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining Transfer Pricing models for PepsiCo Beverages Canada’s Concentrate and Gatorade Business, prepare accurate statutory profitability analyses for various beverage brands owned or distributed by PepsiCo in Canada, while ensuring adherences to tax rulings and regulations. Provide guidance to global Supply Chain group, monitor and manage Transfer Price on Raw Materials and Finished Goods PepsiCo Beverages Canada purchases from or sells to related international entities. Working closely with external consultants, contribute to annual Transfer Pricing Contemporaneous Studies preparation, and provide segmented financials, functional analysis, and business insights. Support periodic preparation of the Income Tax Provision and report to US parent company. Responsible for maintaining statutory financial statements (Balance Sheet and Income Statement) for two legal entities within PepsiCo Beverages Canada; assist with the completion of annual statutory financial statements. Prepare and maintain periodic calculation and balance sheet reconciliations for management services, royalties, and other transactions with related entities. Support the annual completion of tax packages to U.S. headquarters and to Canadian Corporate Tax team used in corporate Income Tax Return filing in Canada. Assist in Canada Revenue Agency audit query responses in conjunction with the Corporate Tax team. Assist in the preparation of various governmental reporting requests and surveys. Assist and lead various ad-hoc projects including on the improvement of external and statutory financial reporting processes. Qualifications Certified Accounting designation with minimum 5 years of working experience, preferred in Accounting Firms or Consumer Packaging Industry. Transfer Pricing knowledge and Corporate Income Tax experience are considered assets. Experience in preparing or reviewing Financial Statements and Disclose Notes under US GAAP and IFRS. Strong knowledge in cloud-based Microsoft Office tools and experience in SAP S4/HANA applications. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to make well thought-out decisions. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Highly responsive and independent acting towards time-bounded deliverables.
