Summary:
Performs a variety of financial activities, including accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit and collections. Develops and evaluates financial plans and policies. Establishes and maintains accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
Major Position Responsibilities Manages multiple financial functions in an organizationEstablishes internal controls for monitoring assets, capital investments, controlling costs, and measuring liquidityLiaisons with senior leadership from accounting on matters of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statementsMay summarize the financial status of the organization; interprets asset ratios, break-even analysis reports, profit margins, operating costs, stock value (if applicable), and other metrics used in measuring fiscal stabilityCommunicates with operations, marketing, HR, IT, and other departments on matters of internal controls and/or budget approval and ROI for specific projectsPrepares for audits and makes certain that financial reporting is completed properly, and that all documentation follows applicable regulations (including GAAP, FASB, or SEC mandates)

Associates DegreeOR equivalent combination of relevent education and/or experience 5-7 years prior experience in a similar positionPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), GAAP standardsKnowledge of financial management principles, program planning, budgeting and practicesProficient in Microsoft ExcelFinancial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment Data Science or Data Analytics toolsExperience and use of IFS softwareKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
