Finance Sr Analyst (Frito-Lay Supply Chain)
Overview The Finance Sr Analyst – Frito-lay Supply Chain Manufacturing, is responsible for providing financial analytics to Frito Lay’s operations teams. The role works closely with cross functional partners in operations to meet both short term and long-term key performance measures in the areas of cost, quality, and safety. The role will provide support for the Frito-Lay Supply Chain team as well as provide coaching/support to the Field Operations Teams and the Operations Finance team. What you can expect from us: Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to fit your unique needs A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole-self to work Inspiring positive change for people and the planet with sustainability goals A supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development Responsibilities Period Close / Forecast Lead the Manufacturing period close results versus forecast, plan & year ago and provide commentary, analysis & insights to drive business results Collaborate with Controller's team on process/accruals Lead manufacturing period & quarterly forecasts Lead the forecast accuracy tracking & work with site’s Performance Managers to improve accuracy Ad hoc analysis to facilitate timely decision making to support business performance Leverage technology (SAP, MOSAIC) for reporting and adapt current ways of working to embrace change Annual Operating Plan Supporting Finance Manager with the Annual Operating Plan by providing historical trend analysis, benchmarking analysis Lead waste analysis by site, manufacturing overhead build, labor rates and non-standards Collaborate with Performance managers, cost accounting and product supply Lead various financial analysis to help build our Annual Operating Plan. Lead GL uploads to financial system and reconciliation Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure accuracy of price book Standard Cost Collaborate with R&D to develop Product formulas & standard cost review process Work closely with Cost Accounting and PGT teams to ensure accurate standards are in place to improve performance accuracy Grow Revenue / Innovation Work closely with Category Finance and R&D to build innovation manufacturing cost cards by sku Productivity Support productivity initiatives to deliver AOP Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred. MBA or Accounting designation preferred 4+ years of relevant experience Strong interpersonal skills and proven collaboration/teamwork experience Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and under minimal supervision Deep understanding of financial modeling/evaluation, linking to Supply Chain data Demonstrated results as a leader in a work, school or extracurricular setting Strong Excel and financial modeling skills Strong analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills Experience in Supply Chain is an asset Experience in SAP and MOSAIC is an asset A keen desire to build a career with PepsiCo Why work at PepsiCo: At PepsiCo, you’re invited to be a part of a global team of innovators who make, move, and sell these products—which are enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a day.
