Responsibilities The Opportunity The S&T Finance Analyst is responsible for S&T financial processes, including planning/forecasting, reporting, accounting, procurement oversight, investment tracking and monitoring, productivity tracking, and controls oversight for S&T spend funded by the LAF and LAB regions. This position works closely with the sector finance team to ensure accurate reporting. The role serves as a business partner, providing financial support and guidance for decision-making on accounting processes. It also delivers value-added financial insights to stakeholders to help achieve productivity targets and support the assessment and monitoring of large investment decisions. Key responsibilities include supporting monthly closing activities for S&T spend across the LAF and LAB regions—covering sector and global allocations (consolidating results from PIM and BUSA and posting across the region), actuals analysis (including controls and accruals), and forecasting processes such as AOP development, monthly forecasts, and financial reporting to Sector S&T Finance and local S&T leads. Your Impact As Finance Sr Analyst your responsibilities would consist of: Forecasting & Planning (Baseline, Productivity, Investment): Main finance contact for LAF and LAB teams (S&T, Deployment, Controls, FP&A, Sector) regarding budget variances, financial targets, actuals tracking, and expense management (POs, telecom, travel). Partner with budget owners to ensure forecast accuracy, manage financial risks, and support business goals. Lead AOP, PSP, and monthly/weekly forecasts; analyze technology runs, baseline figures, one-timers, and deliver risk/opportunity analysis. Prepare financial decks for leadership; align with OU FP&A on macro/financial assumptions for AOP consistency. Project Financial Oversight: Support project setup and coordination with Sector Finance. Monitor and analyze project OpEx, flagging risks/opportunities, and ensuring BOY forecast alignment. Accounting & Actuals Management: Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close, accruals, reclassifications, and P&L reallocations. Execute monthly allocations, investigate charges/invoices, and manage LatAm cross charges. Participate in close meetings; monitor accruals aging and timing with local S&T to avoid P&L impacts. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For?
