Finance Project Team - Business Analyst - Associate

EMEA Regulatory Reporting is rapidly evolving environment with change through mandatory regulatory reporting requirements, application enhancements & technical change, data enrichment and support for JPM line of business development projects. 

As a Business Analyst within EMEA Regulatory Reporting team, you will be working as part of a multi-region team managing the implementation aspects of new regulations, internal operating model changes/business process re-engineering, business deliverables on new technology deployments, plus integration into Finance of LOB driven projects (e.g. new legal entity set-ups and product roll outs, technology refresh initiatives). You will be part of the projects working group to successfully agree project scope and implement within budget and timelines. 

Job responsibilities 

Establish and maintain an effective communication and engagement model with key contacts within the various within the team , Technology and Line of Business teamsContribute to project scope, approach and timelines, ensuring that EMEA Regulatory impacts are understood and requirements are fully metEnsure that Business Requirements and testing strategies are clearly documented, communicated, and delivered against Critical Success CriteriaEnsure that Test Environment requirements are clearly articulated and agreedEnsure issues are raised / escalated and driven through to resolutionEnsure Risks & dependencies are highlighted, with mitigation options presented, to Project Management and the EMEA Regulatory Reporting teamDraft & delivery Regulatory Business Requirements and User Test Requirements Documentation for sign offPlan & Execute User Acceptance Testing including issue investigation & Defect resolutionDraft & deliver User Test Completion Report for sign offObtain sign off approval from the EMEA Regulatory Reporting team

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Strong knowledge of Regulatory Reporting Rules particularly Credit risk, Market risk, Financial Reporting etc. Experience of User testing planning & execution; Quality Centre knowledge a bonusDetailed documentation skills to define and capture the current state of a process and articulate future state in a proposed draft manner An understanding and an appreciation of the Project Life Cycle Strong analytical skills, logical thinker with strong attention to detail Excellent written skills with clear, concise & logical documentationExcellent organization & planning skills  Creative problem solving and business process reengineering skills, issue & risk management and resolution skills  Good communication, negotiation and relationship management skills  Team player with ability work with colleagues in a collaborative manner, as well as being able to proactively progress multiple tasks independentlyAbility to execute tasks under targets and effectively manage changes in plan; ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment
