Finance Plant Controller
We’re excited to announce an opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role that supports the success of our business in Romania!We’re looking for a Finance Plant Controller to be based at our Ecolab plant in the city of Victoria, Brasov county, to lead a team of experienced professionals. If you’re passionate about business, driving performance and excellence, building strong cross-functional relationships, and fostering a collaborative culture—this could be your next move.The Finance Plant Controller is responsible for managing the financial administration of the plant and for providing plant leadership team with key financial data and analyses to enable decision making in a wide variety of operational and accounting decisions. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Finance Director – Life Sciences, the role will take a lead position in controlling cost and forecasts for the plant.

Main Responsibilities:Be the finance business partner to the Plant Manager.Lead and manage the site financial team including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and overall site ensuring accurate accounting records in accordance with US GAAP and statutory GAAPActively support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingReconcile the general ledger accounts monthly and ensure record-to-report capabilityActively engages in the month-end and quarter-end close processes in line with very narrow timelines Acting as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, tax authorities and other authoritiesPrepare and analyze the key monthly financial reports for the plantsBe actively involved in plant management to identify operational efficiencies and financial savingsMaintain required systems and procedures that monitor the financial effectiveness of plant operationsLead the plant budgeting and forecasting processes including plant & logistics expense, material loss, and purchase price variance.Develop key performance measurements and establish tracking systemsProvide standard product costs during budgeting and as requestedPerform internal audits to assure policy adherenceComply with all site Health and Safety requirements and improvement programsSkills / Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or EconomicsMinimum of 5 years working experience in Finance in a multinational company, including plant finance experienceStrong analytical and communication skillsFluent English language skills – both verbal and written (additional language knowledge beneficial) Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP experience)Strong personal agility:  Ability to fit in and work with the management team and other stakeholdersAbility to lead others, work individually, and collaborate with othersWillingness to travel (5-10%)
