**Job Title: Finance Planning & Analyst** **Duration: 6 Months** **Location: Montreal, QC (3 Days/Week onsite from start of assignment)** **Responsibilities:** + Responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis for a specific business unit, division or product. Supports the business by providing financial reporting and analysis to aid business management and gives guidance and advice on accounting issues and the financial implications of business trends. Responsibilities typically include ensuring adequacy of controls, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and reconciliations. + Responsible for managing the controlling needs with respect to risk within the firm by ensuring that adequate controls, risk reporting and analysis are in place. + Responsible for the review, vetting, drafting and processing of Standby Letters of Credit [SBLC] /. Guarantee language ﴾including Bid/Performance Bonds and Letters of Indemnity﴿, and Import & Export + Documentary credits and collections, and as appropriate, discussion with internal / external counsel and Trade Finance Advisor + Other responsibilities related to letter of credit processing include the issuance, advising/confirming, amendment, examination of documents, payments, SBLC automatic reductions ﴾Evergreen﴿ auto‐extend, fee/expense processing ﴾including billing and collection﴿, billing of lading processing, unfunded risk participations, and preparation of general ledger batch files and general ledger reconciliations. + Routine inquiries should be addressed and where possible resolved, in a timely manner. + Be aware of and comply with all internal procedures and external regulatory/legal regulations or guidelines **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
